Volleyball court surfaces must balance grip for rapid lateral movement with cushioning for jumps and landings. Here's how a FIVB-standard court is built.
1.5mm embossed PVC with anti-slip texture (R10). FIVB-certified for indoor volleyball. Colour: green, blue, or maple-wood pattern. Embedded line markings.
Reinforcing mesh prevents dimensional change and curling at seams. Essential for India's temperature and humidity variations.
4.5mm closed-cell PVC foam. Force reduction 55%. Energy return for jumps. The comfort layer that protects knees and ankles during repeated landings.
PU adhesive primer over prepared concrete. Ensures permanent bond between foam and subfloor. Prevents delamination under high-point loads.
100mm concrete, moisture <4% CM, flatness ±2mm/2m. Shot-blasted for adhesion. Expansion joints filled and levelled.

PVC vinyl with anti-fatigue cushion is the modern standard — excellent shock absorption for diving and jumping, consistent grip, and easier maintenance. Maple hardwood offers the classic feel and is required for some international competitions but is harder on joints. For Indian conditions, we recommend 6-7mm PVC with foam backing for most facilities.
PVC vinyl court: 2 to 3 days. Maple hardwood: 5 to 7 days including subfloor. PP interlocking tiles: 1 day. A full volleyball hall with 2-4 courts typically takes 1 to 2 weeks. We also install net post systems and referee stands as part of the project.
Yes — PVC courts at the correct dimensions (13.4x6.1m for badminton doubles) can host both sports with different line colours. Maple floors work for both naturally. We design dual-marking schemes and supply portable net systems for multi-sport halls.
Synthetic PU: ₹65–95 per sqft — cushioned, non-slip, ideal for indoor competition and beach-style courts. Sprung wood: ₹180–280 per sqft for indoor hardwood courts with FIVB-standard resilience. Acrylic: ₹75–110 per sqft for outdoor courts with multi-layer coating. A standard 18m × 9m court ranges from ₹1.2 lakhs to ₹4.5+ lakhs depending on surface, poles, and net systems.
Yes, we supply FIVB-compliant net post systems — floor-socket or free-standing, with official nets, antennae, and padding. We also provide referee stands, score displays, and court divider curtains for multi-court facilities.
PVC: daily dry mopping, weekly damp cleaning, quarterly polish. Use pH-neutral cleaners. Maple: daily dust mopping, annual screen-and-recoat, humidity control at 30-50% RH. Both surfaces should be protected from chair/dolly damage. We offer AMC packages.
