A squash court is a precision-built box. The walls use specialist plaster for consistent bounce, the floor is sprung maple, and the back wall is tempered glass.
5mm specialist squash plaster (gypsum + hardener) over blockwork. Trowelled to a smooth, hard finish. Tested for consistent ball bounce and sound across all 3 walls.
215mm concrete block wall, vertical. Provides the mass for ball rebound. Plastered on the inside face only. Straightness tolerance ±2mm over 2m.
12mm toughened safety glass in steel frame. Fully compliant with PSA and WSF standards. Laminated option available for enhanced safety.
22mm first-grade Canadian maple on sprung timber joists. 45° sprung pad system per DIN 18032-2. Force reduction ≥53%. Sealed with 3 coats sports lacquer.
Timber joists at 400mm centres on rubber pads. Air gap beneath for ventilation and moisture management. Prevents warping in India's climate.

A WSF-standard squash court (6.4m x 9.75m x 4.57m front wall) ranges from 8 lakhs to 18+ lakhs. Tournament courts with 4-glass walls and platinum systems are at the premium end. Club courts with glass back wall and 3 plaster walls are mid-range. Community courts with quality hardwood and plaster walls are most economical.
Canadian maple 22mm is the WSF standard — dense, consistent bounce, and durable. European beech is a quality alternative at a lower price point. Both are kiln-dried to 6-9% moisture and finished with sports lacquer. We source FSC-certified timber and provide full grading documentation.
Single court: 4 to 6 weeks. Includes: room preparation (must be fully enclosed with proper HVAC), subfloor installation, wood flooring, wall construction (specialist squash plaster), glass back wall installation, lighting, and commissioning. Proper humidity control (10-15% RH variation) is critical for wood stability.
Yes, we supply and install 12mm tempered safety glass back walls (WSF/FIA compliant) with powder-coated steel frames. Options include: full glass back wall, partial glass with return panels, and full 4-glass-wall tournament configuration. All glass is EN 12150 certified for impact resistance.
Yes, court renovation is a significant part of our business. We handle: floor sanding and refinishing, wall replastering, glass replacement, lighting upgrades to LED, and full HVAC assessment. A typical renovation takes 2 to 3 weeks and extends court life by 10-15 years.
LED lighting at 500 lux average with low-glare diffusers is the modern standard. We design lighting layouts to eliminate shadows on the front wall and provide even illumination across the court. Dimmable systems allow adjustment for training vs match play. Emergency lighting is included for safety compliance.
