Water-based elite standard and sand-filled club options — full 91.4m x 55m pitch construction.
Three tiers engineered for different levels of play. All certified to international standards.
22mm pile, water irrigation, international/elite standard
15mm pile, sand infill only, club standard, low maintenance
Dual-certified, one surface for both sports, maximum ROI
FIH Global wet systems use dense synthetic turf with an integrated irrigation layer. The water film on the surface creates the fast, true ball roll that defines elite hockey.
18mm texturised monofilament turf, FIH Global certified. Dense pile for wet-surface play. No sand infill — the water film provides the playing characteristics.
Integrated subsurface irrigation with pop-up sprinklers at 5m centres. Delivers uniform water film across the full pitch. Automated control with soil moisture sensors.
12mm EPDM shock pad. Provides player comfort and controlled ball bounce. Perforated for vertical drainage >500mm/hr during heavy irrigation.
150mm graded aggregate (20–40mm) on geotextile. Designed for high-volume drainage during irrigation cycles. Compacted to 95% density.
Engineered soil subgrade with 1.5% cross-fall. Geotextile separator prevents fines migration. CBR ≥10% for load-bearing under irrigation cycles.

Water-based: 22mm pile with water irrigation system — the FIH Global standard for international competition. Fastest, most consistent ball roll, but requires water system maintenance and higher cost. Sand-filled: 15mm pile with sand only — FIH National standard, lower maintenance, more affordable. Choose water-based for elite competition; sand-filled for clubs and schools.
A full 91.4m x 55m pitch: 5 to 8 weeks. This includes: earthworks, drainage, stone base, shock pad, turf installation, infill, line marking, and irrigation system (for water-based). Water-based systems add 1 week for irrigation installation and testing.
Water-based requires: daily irrigation (automated sprinkler system), weekly brushing, monthly water quality checks, quarterly irrigation system inspection, and annual GMAX testing. The water system includes storage tank, pump, and pipe network. Annual maintenance cost is higher than sand-filled but delivers superior play.
Water-based FIH Global: ₹170–240 per sqft — 22mm pile with automated irrigation system, the international competition standard. Sand-filled FIH National: ₹75–110 per sqft — 15mm pile with silica sand infill, lower maintenance and more affordable. A full 91.4m × 55m pitch ranges from ₹45 lakhs to ₹1.3+ crores depending on surface grade, irrigation system, and base preparation.
Yes, we offer dual FIH + FIFA certified turf systems. The pitch dimensions work for both sports (hockey: 91.4x55m, football 5-a-side: similar). We install multi-sport line markings and configure infill to meet both standards. This maximises facility utilisation and is popular with schools and clubs.
Yes, we supply FIH-certified goal sets (aluminium or steel), rebound boards (temporary or permanent), side and backboard systems, and practice board targets. Full pitch accessory packages are available.
